David Devlin is a weird and wonderful person. His magic has been used to entertain all over the USA. Originally from Texas, David found his calling in magic and sideshows at the young age of 4 when his grandparents gave him a magic set for his birthday. David fell in love with the art and never quit learning. David has been performing professionally since he was 15. He has recieved a diploma from The Royal Academy of Magical Arts, and a certificate award in magic from The University of California, Fulerton. David also recieved The San Diego, CA IBM Entertainer of The Year Award in 2003.
David is the author of 5 magic books, and has made many instructional DVDs. All of which have been published internationally.
David began learning the sideshow working acts in 2002, and has loved every minute of it. David eats fire, eats broken lightbulbs, puts his hand in an animal trap, sets off a mousetrap with his tongue, smashes a cinderblock over his head, and many other wild and weird things. David's show features all of these acts plus a variety of magic and illusions.
As an extra added bonus David is a retired card cheat. While in his early 20s, David played in fixed poker games for a mafia-owned casino. However, David grew a conscience and left that life behind. But fortunatly for you, David kept up with the skills required for cheating and has added a special segment to the show, which features all of those skills. David will demonstrate why the best are never caught! This part of the show can be performed as a single act, and is perfect for Casino Night events!
